Hey, I have been tryin to find out what some of the rewards for competing in guild wars are, or if there are any. I was looking on the main site and it says that there are tournaments and ladders, but do you get anything besides street credz for being top?

Is there PvP special items available for winning a certain amount of totalmatches, or winning x number of matches in a row, ect?

I would definatley be more interested if there was some ingame rewards for winning in guildwars.

Any info is appreciated,

Yes, you do get a stick

With a single small pretty swirling light around the handle! The stick is tied to something called "fame," which can only be gathered by winning in the Tombs of the Primordial Kings. Once you rack up enough fame points, you get that "stick," which shows whenever you're in an outpost or a city. As you gain more and more fame, your fame ranking will go up, and so will the level of your stick. The stick doesn't do anything except for aesthetic purposes, and it does change with increasing levels of fame (a few levels look very very similar, or even the same, the last time I checked.. which was about three months ago).

As for GvG, your rewards are your ladder standings. I don't know if ANet plans to give any other rewards, but so far, having your guild be top 10 on the ladder is reward enough for me. Nothing quite like boasting rights, no?

Also, you might want to research a bit on the Worlds At War concept. Whatever "world" wins and holds the final level of tombs get to unlock a special area for their "world," where you can find unique items and pets. If you want to learn more, I'm sure there are many threads around here to fulfill your curiosity.
